Frequently asked questions

Short answers about orders, delivery, duties, currencies, returns and materials.

Orders

How do I know my order went through?

You receive an order confirmation e-mail straight after checkout, and a second e-mail when your order is dispatched. If the first e-mail does not arrive, check your spam folder or contact us.

Can I change or cancel my order?

E-mail us as soon as possible. If the order has not been dispatched, we can change or cancel it. After dispatch, you can still withdraw within 14 days of delivery – see Cancellation & withdrawal.

Do I need an account?

No. You can check out as a guest. You can create an account at checkout if you want to see your orders later.

Delivery

Where are orders shipped from?

Our supply partners pack and ship orders. Parcels are often sent from outside your country, so please allow for the transit times on our Shipping & delivery page.

How long will delivery take?

Dispatch takes 1-3 business days. Transit is about 5-10 business days to the UK, 6-12 to the EU, US and Canada, 8-15 to Australia and New Zealand and 10-20 elsewhere.

Why did my order arrive in two parcels?

Different items can come from different supply partners. You only pay shipping once.

Will I pay import taxes or customs fees?

You may. Depending on your country, import VAT, duties or a carrier handling fee can be charged on delivery. These are not included in our prices. Details are in Import taxes, duties and customs.

Prices and payment

Which currencies can I pay in?

USD, EUR, GBP, CAD and AUD. Use the currency selector at the top of the page; the checkout shows the currency you will be charged in.

Why is the price different in another currency?

Prices are set in US dollars and converted at fixed rates, then rounded. The amount at checkout is the amount you pay.

Do you offer discount codes?

No. We keep prices the same for everyone.

Returns

How long do I have to return something?

30 days from delivery for unused items. EU and UK consumers also have a 14-day statutory right to cancel.

Who pays for return postage?

You do if you changed your mind; we do if the item is faulty, damaged or wrong. See Returns & refunds.

Products

Can I put the glass containers in the microwave, oven or dishwasher?

Only if the product page says so with the supplier’s temperature limit. If it does not, that use is not confirmed and we do not recommend it.

Are the photos of the actual item?

Photos show the style, shape and colour of each item. Natural materials such as bamboo, cotton and linen vary slightly from piece to piece, and colours can look different on screen.

Do you sell food?

No. We only sell storage and kitchen goods.
