Product safety

Safety information on every product page

Each product page has a “Product safety information” section with:

• the product name and item code, which also identify the item in your order confirmation;
• the seller, YBJ LTD, with our e-mail address and a link to our postal address;
• manufacturer details, which are provided with the item and on request;
• warnings and safe-use notes for that type of item.

Please also read any instructions or warnings supplied on the item or its packaging, and keep them.

General safe use

• Glass can break if dropped or knocked. Check containers and jars for chips or cracks before each use and stop using a damaged item.
• Heat and cold: do not use items in an oven, microwave, freezer or dishwasher unless the listing states the supplier’s temperature limit for that use.
• Small parts such as silicone seal rings, clips and vinyl labels can be a choking hazard. Keep them away from young children.
• Textiles are not flame resistant. Keep aprons, towels and pot holders away from open flames and hot plates.
• Seals and lids: make sure seal rings are seated correctly before closing a lid, and check for wear.

We do not make food-safety certification claims or promise how long food will keep in any container. Materials are described as the supplier states them.

Report a safety concern

If you think an item is unsafe, stop using it and e-mail support@ybbj.shop with your order number, the item code and a description or photos of the problem. We reply within 2 business days, investigate with the supplier and, where needed, inform the relevant authorities.

Recalls and safety notices

If an item we have sold needs to be recalled or needs a safety warning, we will e-mail the customers who bought it and publish a notice on this page with instructions and a refund or replacement.
